Know where your e-waste goes

Croxley Recycling is one of New Zealand’s most trusted e-waste recyclers!

Croxley Recycling Centre in New Lynn makes a significant contribution to reducing landfill in this country. A recent audit showed less than 1.0% by weight of what comes into the Centre is unable to be recycled.

You can be assured that we follow best practice with an audited end of life pathway, meeting all environmental goals.

We provide end-of-life services for ITT Equipment (EC 56) and recycling of Imaging Consumables (EC-55). Toner cartridges, inkjet cartridges, and other consumables roll in from some 14,000 collection points around the country, all destined for re-purposing in a variety of different forms.

For office technology manufacturers, Brother New Zealand Limited, Ricoh New Zealand Limited and Canon New Zealand Limited, the Croxley connection is vital to their sustainability programmes.

E-waste

E-waste can be defined as any electronic device that is either obsolete or unwanted.

There is often many toxic substances contained in the products (Lead, nickel, cadmium, brominated fire retardants etc) and as such e-waste requires appropriate collection and recycling.

The industry in New Zealand is currently unregulated with varying standards of responsible recycling.

Croxley Recycling is looking to set the standard in E-waste recycling, providing a trusted and transparent service that provides secure pathways for meaningful recycling.

We ensure all our processes and outputs are sustainable, documented and audited.

If you want to be seen to be doing the right thing with your e-waste, contact Croxley Recycling.
